Problem Definition:

The client was seeking an EPC company to deliver a power solution for a remote area with no grid access. The requirement was to run basic electrical loads, including lighting and a 1-ton air conditioner, for a living container using an off-grid solar system.

Solution:

A 5 kW hybrid solar system was deployed, designed for future grid connectivity. The system includes 10 kWh of battery storage to supply small loads during nighttime hours.

System Overview:

The 5.31 kWp solar hybrid system installed at ADC Al Faya Store supports a remote living container in an off-grid environment. It features a 5 kW hybrid inverter and a 10 kWh lithium battery bank, providing consistent power for lighting and a 1-ton air conditioner. Designed with grid-ready functionality, the system generates approximately 1.938 MWh of clean energy annually, reducing CO₂ emissions by about 1,550 kg per year. Efficient solar utilization during the day and reliable battery backup at night ensure uninterrupted operation and long-term sustainability.
