Problem Definition:

Old off grid solar systems at four sites led to frequent irrigation downtime and lacked effective monitoring, impacting water management reliability.

Replaced old systems with advanced off grid solar solutions, ensuring consistent irrigation power and enhanced real time monitoring for optimal operational efficiency.

System Overview:

This project involved the replacement of outdated off grid solar systems at four identical remote irrigation sites managed by Dubai Municipality. The existing systems were removed and replaced with upgraded, efficient off grid solar power setups. Each new system includes a Victron inverter, AGM batteries, monocrystalline solar panels, and a Victron MPPT charge controller, along with a CCGX monitoring unit for real time performance tracking. The goal was to restore reliable power to irrigation controllers, ensure uninterrupted daytime operation and enhance monitoring capabilities for improved water management and maintenance.
