The PVT Hybrid Solar Desalination Plant uses Photovoltaic + Thermal technologies together with LiFePO4 based storage system to desalinate salt water into potable water. It has a PV Capacity of 125kWp with a battery bank of 56kWhr, situated near the coastal area of Jebel Ali Free-zone, Dubai, on the Arabian Gulf. Total of 450 DuSol Solar Modules & 4 Units of DuSol 30kW Inverters are installed at the site. The Complete system is smartly monitored using PLC/SCADA. The system is 100% renewable based and uses NO conventional grid power to sustain its requirements.
