Green Community at TECOM needed to power to run their LED park lights. With limited access to power, they opted to use solar. It was tricky to use conventional method of solar powered lawn lights as they need direct sunlight to reach individual panel mounted on the pole. Due to interesting set up, it became apparent that an innovative set-up will be required as the lawn has heavy foliage surrounding them. The lawn lights that were used eventually were the normal 220V/50Hz powered lights. These lights were then powered by solar system that was set up to accumulate maximum amount of sun energy.
